Harm can include:
•Physical abuse
•Being bullied or threatened
•Being forced or pressured into sexual activity
•Having their money or possessions taken
•Not receiving the care that they need

Some adults may be more at risk because of a disability, illness or health condition.

Anyone could cause harm. It could be family, friends, paid staff, volunteers, other service users or strangers.
